Safari Trip

  

I was a bit more than surprised during the Safari Trip I went on last summer. I came across these two bikers by Gæsavötn (Gooselakes). It’s not that it’s special traveling on bikes, but to travel in that area on bikes, is a bit special. Conditions are very rough, large rocks, soft sand, ankle-deep glacier water and very hard to cross the land in a good 4 weeler, let alone on a bike. I feel these young men could have picked an easier route to travel around the country. But they were in good spirits. The weather had been on their side for the journey and the scenery is breathtaking.    http://www.photoice.com
